HTML that stands for “HyperText Markup Language” is an international standard markup language for documents designed to be displayed in a web browser in the internet. It was officially invented in 1993 and is still in use. HTML was a key contributor to the success of the internet.

HTML works by using a set of predefined tags to define the structure and content of web pages. These tags are enclosed in angle brackets, such as <html>, <head>, <title>, and <body>. The content of a web page is placed between these tags, and the browser uses the tags to render the page according to its structure and formatting.
